This season, we wanted to interpret SpongeBob in a unique way that aligned with the subversive and creative ethos of Vans Skateboarding. Artist Mike Gigliotti of Lotties Skateshop was the perfect partner for the project. Mike’s gritty aesthetic, edgy illustrations, and strong ties to skateboarding’s core provided the perfect lens for SpongeBob’s new look.
